Urological Care
Urology is the branch of medicine and physiology concerned with the function and disorders of the urinary system. This includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. It also addresses the male sexual organs, while urogynecology address the female sexual organs. Urologist have several subspecialties they may focus on.
Urogynecology is a branch of medicine addressing urological system problems in women. This can involve problems with the pelvic floor and urinary incontinence.
Our office provides both Urogynecology and Urology services.
Dr. Aaron Johnson and Dr. Timothy Siegel lead the Urology department in conjunction with Christopher Smalley, PA and Lindsay Worley, NP. This team focuses on genitourinary cancer, urinary stones, and men's health issues. This team sees patients in several locations.
Dr. Sara Diaz and Mary Horsfall, NP lead the Urogynecology department specializing in women's health. They see patients in our Richmond location only.
We provide a variety of in office procedures including cystoscopy, urodynamics, and biopsies. If you feel you have urologic issue we encourage you to contact your primary care provider for a referral, or call our office for more information.
