It's about having appropriate screenings based on your risk factors and family history. People often have routines established to maintain their teeth - dental visits twice a year - vision checks, hair appointments. Most follow regular preventive maintenance schedules on their cars, lawn mowers and other items. Wellness is about paying the same kind of attention to your most important asset - your own body!
If you don't have a regular doctor, we can help you find one. If you do, make a well check part of your annual planning. Among the screenings you can schedule without a referral are heart CT scans, a screening mammogram and a vascular screening to name a few. Talk to your doctor about what may be right for you!
