Endocrinology is the branch of medicine concerned with endocrine glands and hormones. The organs involved with the endocrine system include the pituitary, thyroid, adrenals, ovaries, testes, and pancreas. Endocrine system disorders can often be attributed to hormone imbalances and can display themselves with a variety of symptoms.
Marianne "Annie" Duke, NP-C, is certified by the American Academy of Family Nurse Practitioners.
"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when I was a child. I've always wanted to be in a position that helped others, and I enjoy that healthcare allows me to be able to do that and make a positive difference in my community.
"I consider it a privilege to being able to care for my patients and to be a part of their health and wellness."
Annie Duke was so kind and listened and explained the new medicine to me so I could make the decision about the medicine.
Very kind. Thorough explanations. Answered all questions
Awesome dr she is very nice and has a answer for all my questions if not she finds out what I won't to know ????
Very personable and professional. It was a good experience.
Annie Duke us fantastic. I look forward to seeing her! Great job with me Annie!
All staff was very friendly and pleasant.
I was very pleased with every one
The nurses was polite and courtesy the doctor was wonderful listen to everything I had to say and she explained anything in the way I could understand it thank you
Mrs. Duke is very thorough with her information and listening to my questions. She is a very good care provider.
My appt was at 7am. I was taken back to the exam room at 6:50 and at 7:30 the doctor still hadn't came in and no one came to check on me or to tell me the Dr was running late. I walked out of the room at 7:30 to tell them I would have to reschedule because I couldn't wait any longer or I would be late for work. The Nurse practitioner was sitting there and said she was sorry and would come right in. She came in and rushed through everything and didn't even physically examine my thyroid. I know she was probably rushing so I could get to work on time. However, when one has the first appointment of the day you would expect to be seen on time. I know things sometimes happen and running late can't be helped but it would have been nice if someone would have checked on me and told me she was going to be 40 minutes late. If I was going to be late I would have called the office to let them know. I am guessing they would have told me I would have to reschedule. I just think the same courtesy should be given to patience.
I have been 13 years getting to the result ls of todays visit. Reid has been my doctor for just a few of these years but my weight is down and for the first time since diagnosed my A1C was under 6. A significant milestone.
I seen Anne today for the first time and she was amazing! Answered all my questions in a matter that I would I understand. Made me feel comfortable and very knowledgeable with diabetes. Very greatful that I am able to go to Reid endocrinology !
First time I have met with Annie Duke .. always have had Dr K or Nat King ... loved her !!! She is just as great as the other 2 .... Don't know what I would do with out these wonderful providers !
Very good doctor and staff. Answered my questions
I always feel that I am taken good care of and feel I get all my questions answered. They are all so nice to me?
Annie is very knowledgeable and a great listener
She was wonderful.she didn't need to improve anything.were running test to find out what's going on.i dont know awhole lot at the moment.
Everyone was extremely helpful and timely. I was very pleased with my care and felt like I was given time at my appointment and not rushed in and out. Excellent care! Thank you
Very pleasant visit.
I haven't felt this good about a doctor in a long time she was excellent . She answered every single question, wasn't in a hurry to get rid of us and absolutely great . The receptionist in Dr Kretchins office gave us coupons for the restaurant. Thank you so much.
Very satisfied with care and providers in practice.
She was very nice and caring
Nursing was great
Reid Endocrinology has been a literal life-saver since I started seeing them five years ago. I trust their expertise and care unconditionally!
I have filled out paperwork to get help with my insulin. The nurse practioner sent prescription to the pharmacy. I cannot pay over $350 for these prescriptions and pay my rent. This why I filled paperwork to get help with my insulin.
I really liked her she was very nice and I felt very comfortable talking to her. I felt informed and reassured upon leaving.
Had a seven am appointment. I arrived on time as was told to wait until five minutes prior to that time . It was approximately 15 minutes later that I was called back. From then on it progressed great. But as someone who works nights, I did not feel like my time was considered valuable. Once called back was great. If offering early appointments, staff should be ready for patients by that time.
Very pleased with my nurse Practitioner Marianne Duke. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and very thorough.
She was very good at answering my questions and explaining about my medical problems.
The Kretchman and her staff are extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I have had excellent results and care. Thank you
My NP was very good! Full of good useful information and a great plan to follow. I felt listened too, not rushed, and left feeling hopeful about my care plan. I went home and excersized on my bike for 20 minutes. !!
This was my first visit with this provider as I usually see someone else. She was excellent. She explained everything and went over a care plan. This was an emergency visit with her. I was very happy and impressed.
It's good, however, she was mistaken about some advice she gave about getting some medication for free. That can't happen with our current insurance and Medicare. She needs to read the first page of the forms we were given before giving advice to apply for free medication.
NP was knowledgeable, caring, and built an alliance quickly. Her nurse was caring, knew how to respond to my emotional distress with professionalism. I very much appreciated them both. I was having a tough day that day.
I am very confident in the care that I get here at Reid. Everyone one is so kind and helpful. I wouldn't go any other place.
Anne was very willing to listen . Very understanding and willing to research for alternative meds when I couldn't tolerate those I was taking .
I really appreciate Annie duke she seems to be a very caring person and very informative about my issues
NP Annie was so kind and considerate very pleasant she listened to me and explained every thing to me in a way I good understand she was awesome.
I really like my new provider! She was a real sweetheart!
It is always excellent
Annie took time to explain lab work and long term preventive measures to control my condition. She spoke to me with respect and dignity. I appreciate the time she spent explaining everything.
They were all really nice and pleasant and very nice would suggest to anyone
It was her first meeting with me. She had not read any of my history at all. Then I know it's canned information on the patient care info but it tells me to get at least 30 mins of exercise a day. If she asked I do about 150 mins of exercise a day! I teach 5 fitness classes a week. I workout with a personal trainer 3 days a week.
They are a great group, caring and efficient
Annie was very nice and listened and gave me good information.
They used safety procedures and cleaned the chair. And that helps me to feel safe. I appreciate cleaning for our protection. Thank you ?
Professional, thorough, and caring. She provided me additional information about testing and where my goal is. She made me feel more confident in how to manage my sugar levels.
There was a mistake on the printout regarding change in medication. Insulin increased by 2mg per day was unlisted. Also there was to be no change to ozempic. Medical asst had difficulty pronouncing doe of the names of medications
I always leave filling that the care team has for my health.
my illness was explained very well to me. everyone was very polite
I thought my appointments between visits was extremely Extend That my condition it's not urgent so therefore I guess it was reasonable
Only thing was my FaceTime appt was 7:00 AM and it didn't start until almost 7:25. However, I was able to make my next appt on time.
This was my first time seeing this provider
First time to meet Annie. She was very professional and knowledgeable about my situation. Would highly recommend her!
I seen Annie Duke for the 1st time. She was very professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I hope to see her again on my next visit. Felt very comfortable with her. Great job!!!!!
The endocrinology office and staff have been very helpful and caring to me. The nurse Mel has been especially helpful in getting my medication situation taken care of. She even talked with me at this appointment to be sure I was receiving my meds.
It was good
She was very knowledgeable about my history
Despite technical difficulties, which were quickly rectified, the appointment solved my medical needs for the time being. They set clear goals and plans to manage my medical issues.
Very knowledgeable and very caring
Very friendly great service and extremely clean
