We have to go back and get a scan, which used to be done in office, right there, so now we have to wait on appt. from Reid and go back again, and take another day, plus pay for another office call, seems ridiculous when it used to be done right there same day.

I want to bring a situation to your attention just as an FYI note, not a complaint. The cardiac surgeon's (Dr Hon) office did get the insurance approval and scheduled a date for the Watchman device placement, but that info was not communicated to me or Dr. Chong's office until I asked about it at an appt with Dr Chong. Perhaps the approval had just been authorized, but it seemed like that was a potential communication gap that could have resulted in the patient having to make last- minute arrangements to accommodate work and family schedules, especially with holidays, if the procedure information would have been delayed much longer. These providers have always been very professional and made me feel confident that my health care was of importance. The culture at Reid is memorable due the helpfulness of all staff that I have encountered. I am appreciative of the services. xxx

Dr. CHONG IS VERY CARING PERSON.

When I said that there was no discussion about preventing illness or accident it's because there was little to be discussed. Mainly fine points of upcoming blood draws, upcoming stress test and lowering b/p with a new Rx (recognized medication as something I'd been taking a year or so ago (?). Just woke up shortly before taking the survey so my answers aren't as good as they could have been.
