Felt rushed. Had a few concerns was given meds and told to come back next year. Made to feel like they didn't regard my concerns.

Awesome doctor

I absolutely love Dr. Carpenter!! He listen's and takes great care of my husband and me!!

The only thing that happened in this appt was he talked to me about medications and he put his stethoscope on my back in 2 places. Absolutely no other checking of any kind. I turned down the breast exam and skin check. I have been 2 times for wellness exam. One year apart. I am on blood pressure meds and feel I should be seen more than once a year. I cannot figure out if this is him being a terrible doctor or if it Reids expectation of get as many people in and out the door as quickly as possible to bill as much money as possible. I lean to it being this. I am considering moving all of my care to New Castle along with my families. Everyone is polite and he is kind. I just feel like the quality Reid is putting out these days is lacking what the medical system is actually supposed to be, taking care of patience not be a money maker.

All of the people that came to me were very helpful and polite when they came to the place I was in. The doctor was very pleasant and asked if I had any other questions.

Was instructed to have blood work done. Went to the hospital 2 days later to get it done and much to my surprise NO WORK ORDER placed. Do you think I'll keep going back to see if someone has done their job. Email me when you get the answer

Dr Carpenetr is a keeper. I come from a family of doctors and his bedside manner, care, and professionalism is outstanding.

I checked in online. When I arrived the check in girl explained she was new and had a problem with checking me in. She asked a male working in the same area to help her. He acted very "troubled" to be bothered. He demanded my insurance cards, and I explained I pre-registered online. I then was lectured that I should always carry my insurance cards. He then told me to take a seat. So, it appears I did not need my insurance information, and I definitely did not need his attitude.

Dr Carpenter listened to any concerns I had and gave me recommendations when asked. He was very personable .

Dr Carpenter was very brief and seemed to be in a hurry to end my visit quickly.

I contacted them from Argentina via MyChart on Monday, and was able to get an appointment 90 minutes after I returned to Richmond on Tuesday, which I think is really wonderful. Dr Chase seemed quite well informed about my condition, and he prescribed meds that resolved it by Wednesday night. Great job!

With Dr Black, he always listened to my lungs from the front and back, looked in my ears, had me lie back and checked for hernias, had me stand for a hernia check, and then did a prostate exam. My new doctor listened to my lungs from the front. That was it.

My examination was very thorough and received a very good explanation of the corrective procedures that will be forthcoming.

Dr. Carpenter is awesome. He does a great job with kids. Always spends time to ensure that we've had time to discuss all information and answer any questions. Takes time to speak with children as well. Always communicates about scheduling well checks or anything else that should be upcoming. Ladies at the desk are awesome!!! Very helpful in providing needed information and paperwork in connecting all of our family information. They are so helpful.

I had to wait along period of time to see Dr. Chase. I had called several time to see my doctor, and I was referred to Urgent Care. Why have an MD, if I can't get in to see him when I call. I am very disappointed on how Reid Health has their scheduling staff to refer me to urgent care instead of trying for appointment the next day!

Dr Carpenter is awesome!! His staff is terrible. I had records sent from 2 other health care providers and neither one was added to my charts. Dr Carpenter had to go to find them and he finally did. They printed me an order for bloodwork and printed too many test. While on my way home the nurse I believe called me and ask me to mark all of them out and hand write the procedures that needed to be completed. My wife sees Dr Carpenter also and she has had similar issues with the staff before . Just because you don't go to Reid to get the over priced procedures done doesn't mean they shouldn't be added to your medical charts for the doctor to read and make judgement calls on your health.
