The NP I seen was beyond rude and inconsiderate. HORRIBLE bedside manner. I'd walk out if I ever got her again

Nancy Hinds NP provided excellent care. Not only did she treat my current issue~ but gave me scenarios of other symptoms and what I would need to do should that happen.

The front desk and nurse who first saw me were excellent but the doctor/nurse practitioner wasn't helpful at all she just did was throw the reason I was there onto my doctor and did nothing for me except do a mono test which came out negetive. Was a wasted visit. Still had to go 2 days later to my doctor who treated me. I won't be seeing her again.

This was an urgent care visit for what we thought was pneumonia in the time with this COVID-19 crisis. We called and made an appointment and were told to call and wait in the car when we arrived; we did and waited about 10 minutes before receiving another phone call when we learned we were at the wrong urgent care. So even though we missed our appointment~ we were still able to be seen and treated very courteously.

The one downside is that no-one explained to me that when I returned home I was supposed to isolate from my family. While I had asked not to receive a paper copy of the visit summary and this instruction does appear on the document on MyChart~ it should have been explained to me orally. An instruction as important as that should not depend on a patient reading the entire document afterward~ especially with it being placed at the end following a long series of test details and such that are meaningless to the average person. I didn't read all the way down the multiple pages on MyChart until the person calling a few days later with my test results expressed surprise that I hadn't been isolating and I explained that I had not been told to do so and she said it was on the visit summary. Perhaps my asking to receive it only electronically threw things off~ but that is a reasonable request and such an instruction should be given aloud when the patientkis there.

Was told before I got there that I would be tested for Covid~ that is the only reason why I even went. So instead I get instructions to self isolate for 2 weeks.

NP was not very personal~ she was cold she never smiled~she seemed in a hurry to treat me and leave. This was my 3rd visit to the respiratory clinic~ I was nervous and she did not make me feel at ease
