Had to call nurse 4 days in a row for very high BP
Dr. Dab and his staff are very nice and courteous. I like that he is also very thorough and easy to understand. However~ as with all Reid billing~ I find them to be incomplete~ lacking needed information. That is~ the doctor's name~ etc. There are days that I may visit two or three Reid doctors in the same day so the date of service alone is not sufficient. Also~ there is never a complete accounting that would show the amount(s) I have paid and/or the amount(s) insurance has paid. Furthermore~ the requested co-pay by some Reid offices is not always my insurance required co-pay amount so I have to watch this very closely. Finally~ without the billing showing the amounts I have paid and the co-pay being credited against other charges it is truly impossible to know if payments are actually being credited to my account at all. Each month before making my payment I literally have to call to ask what I truly owe.
I do not like the fact that as soon as I reached the exam room I was immediately hooked up for EKG and pulse ox and blood pressure taken before I could catch my breath. I work in the medical field and no way was my BP or pulse accurate. You would definitely think being a Cardiology office they would want accurate readings. Also was given a paper to be filled out such as past medical history and did not get to finish and was told by the MA that we would finish together in the exam room and that never happened. That office needs to slow down and focus on the patients!!!!!!
I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care I have received from the Richmond Cardiologists at Reid Health. They have shown outstanding professional care and treated me with compassion.
we are pleased with the care my mother receives from Dr. Dab and his staff; but the receptionists need to interact and smile with the patients more. They just are going through the routine.
Have always had great care at Reid
It was the first time I had to wait so long to to see the doctor
Dr. Dab and his staff are always courteous and interested in health concerns.
I enjoy visiting there for my appointments~ a positive experience.
I feel Dr Dab is an excellent Doctor. He's very patient and understanding. He will explain things until you understand them. He also as a pleasant personality.
I think Brittany was my nurse doing the intake. She was personable and client directed. Very Happy with her. Saw Judy about my Heart Cath procedure. She was helpful and sensed my stress with previous service and was helpful in getting me ready for my procedure. Dr. Dab was informative and expressed his plan of action for me. He was calming and reassuring. I feel much better about my upcoming procedure.
Yes~ when asked what medications I was taking I corrected what she said had been on my list as a few I was NO LONGER taking~ and I noticed when I got home those were still printed on my paperwork
The two nurses who did 'intake' on me that day seemed more interested in the gathering of 'their info' so they could move along to something else~ than seeing me as a person- lack of eye to eye contact~ their heads ducked in their paper work/note taking. My statements didn't seem to resonate or get responses from either~ and in no time each was gone-only the second one said the doc would be in soon.
I have great confidence in Dr. Dab!
I am very blessed to have a great team of providers.
This is the only place I would want to go for my heart !!
I appreciate that the office called me re high calcium score and encouraged me that I might see a Dr. for follow-up. The tests Dr. Dab had me take the following day were done in a timely manner and the office called me with results that afternoon. That indicates to me the care that the Doctors and Nurses have for their patients.
Normally~ I don't have to wait very long in the exam room; however~ this time it was quit awhile before my doctor came in to see me. That's the only reason I answered that question unfavorably. I was only in the waiting room for about five minutes. I'm guessing my doctor was delayed seeing his previous patient and I understand that happens sometimes. Dr. Dab did not rush me though and that was good.
Satisfied with care at Richmond Cardiology. Billing system~ PFS often unsatisfactory. I call PFS and am told I have a credit on my account but then when I go to PFS location I am told I owe an outstanding balance. I want to settle my bill but who should I believe ? Will they change my outstanding balance after I speak with them? I do not know where I stand.
I have not had any contact with any of the other doctors in the office~ but I would recommend Dr. Dab to anyone and in fact have!
I think my annual visit should last more than 4 minutes. I asked him to go over my echocardiogram and response was "it's fine." I highlighted areas to explain. He never went over my lipid panels. Quite frankly~ I think he dismisses women.
