My questions are always answered by Dr. Dab and the girl who prepares for the doctor or runs an EKG.

Many of the questions didn't apply as this is my first visit.
Dr. Dab and his staff are always courteous and friendly! It's nice to know my doctor is on top of my care and even recognizes me in the hallways outside of the office setting.

The EKG machine (or peripheral parts of it) used did not work well. The nurse/tech (not sure of her title) had to keep adjusting 2 of the leads. What has taken 2 minutes in the past took almost 10 minutes. Not complaining about my time. She was very patient~ checked on me~ as I was breathing hard lying back with a mask on.
It was so much easier for mom. She is 91 and it's hard for her to get out.And of course during this pandemic~ I would not have taken her out anyway.

The telephone call with my doctor was okay but not preferred. Obviously~ there is no real examination with this method. Regarding billing~ I do not yet have any idea what the cost for this appointment it. Since the services provided and the time involved are much less than with a conventional appointment I would expect the fee to be considerably less. We'll see!
It was not an office appointment~ it was a phone appointment due to the coronovirus situation~ which is why most of the questions were not applicable.

Very impressed with dr Dab and his team. I had a test and was not allowed to leave the hospital until I had an appointment with Dr.Dab. more tests were done medication was given before i look left the office. Thank you for super care from Team Dab.
Had to call nurse 4 days in a row for very high BP
Dr. Dab and his staff are very nice and courteous. I like that he is also very thorough and easy to understand. However~ as with all Reid billing~ I find them to be incomplete~ lacking needed information. That is~ the doctor's name~ etc. There are days that I may visit two or three Reid doctors in the same day so the date of service alone is not sufficient. Also~ there is never a complete accounting that would show the amount(s) I have paid and/or the amount(s) insurance has paid. Furthermore~ the requested co-pay by some Reid offices is not always my insurance required co-pay amount so I have to watch this very closely. Finally~ without the billing showing the amounts I have paid and the co-pay being credited against other charges it is truly impossible to know if payments are actually being credited to my account at all. Each month before making my payment I literally have to call to ask what I truly owe.
I do not like the fact that as soon as I reached the exam room I was immediately hooked up for EKG and pulse ox and blood pressure taken before I could catch my breath. I work in the medical field and no way was my BP or pulse accurate. You would definitely think being a Cardiology office they would want accurate readings. Also was given a paper to be filled out such as past medical history and did not get to finish and was told by the MA that we would finish together in the exam room and that never happened. That office needs to slow down and focus on the patients!!!!!!
I have been extremely impressed with the quality of care I have received from the Richmond Cardiologists at Reid Health. They have shown outstanding professional care and treated me with compassion.
we are pleased with the care my mother receives from Dr. Dab and his staff; but the receptionists need to interact and smile with the patients more. They just are going through the routine.

I think Brittany was my nurse doing the intake. She was personable and client directed. Very Happy with her. Saw Judy about my Heart Cath procedure. She was helpful and sensed my stress with previous service and was helpful in getting me ready for my procedure. Dr. Dab was informative and expressed his plan of action for me. He was calming and reassuring. I feel much better about my upcoming procedure.
