It is my opinion that there needs to be less repeated questions and forms. One question would suffice for a lot of labor costs and wasted paper.

I have a serious issue that I was quite concerned about, and Dr McGinty was right on it. Ordered another test and told me to proceed with a surgical consult (previously scheduled) and we will work as a team. I have utmost confidence in him and know I can rely on him. Such a relief.

Dr. McGinty was a new doctor for me. I am 69 and it is always a concern when making a change. I felt very comfortable with him and I am trying a new medication on his recommendation. I am a little concerned because it has many more side effects than my current medication. I also am concerned about it's effect on my kidneys. He wasn't concerned, so we will see.

I really like this doctor. He never makes me feel like he has somewhere else to be. He is down to earth and I like his sense of humor. He is very approachable, open, honest and thoughtful in his comments and responses to my questions I'm so glad he is my "go to" for my heart health.

I drive almost 2 hours to see Dr. McGinty and his staff. I would drive 12 if needed. The staff are respectful and take time to listen to my concerns. I very much have the up most respect for all the staff at Ried Memorial Hospital.

He was my husband's cardiologist several years ago, and I was very pleased when he became my doctor. He listens and makes suggestions, usually. This time he just approved and made me feel great. The doctor spent about 5 minutes with me, did not listen to things I was trying to tell him, and generally acted like he had better things to do than listen to me. I had been having a lot of issues with my heart that I wanted to discuss with him and he was not interested. Also I was told that an echocardigram was going to be scheduled and almost a week later I have heard nothing else about it. I am very unhappy with the lack of care I received and may look elsewhere for a cardiologist. For all the big fancy hospital you have, the level of care is very bad.

He was caring and took the time needed to answer all my questions. He was very patient and not in a hurry.

My nurse Prationer is no longer iemployed by Reid so I go to Shelbyville doctors now However I stayed with Dr McGinty in the Reed hospital as I have all confidence in the Reed Heart Program. There the best in my mind !!!
