Dr. McGinty became my cardiologist in 2010 when I had a heart attack. I followed him when he left McCullough Hyde and now go to Richmond for doctor visits. He is very personable, knowledgeable and I have complete confidence in me. He only sees me once a year yet he remembers everything about me. If I have a question in-between I can utilize My Chart and know with confidence that he will get back to me. I give Dr. McGinty an A+!

I am in " good hands" with Dr McGinty. He uses scientific knowledge to help me get to the best state of health possible. When I am in the office, I can tell he has given my health care much thought. He is kind, friendly and compassionate along with his knowledge. He is a good Cardiologist.

I should have asked more questions about why I keep experiencing these spells off and on and when to know when I should take these spells more serious. Dr McGinty is an awesome Dr. I just did not ask enough questions.

I hated to drive to Connersville, but it was worth the drive. Love seeing my own cardiologist Dr McGinty,, that knows my history. I found the staff at read Connersville satellite to be very friendly and courteous. The environment was outdated but with my understanding you're building a new hospital and that will be fantastic. But I don't like driving that distance if I don't have to. If I was younger I'd had no problems in driving that distance.

Dr Mcginty provided more information on the Pacemaker and provided information on its impact on myself and how often it sends current to keep the beats at 60

I was rushed by the nurse the entire time I had contact with him. The dr interrupted me constantly when I was trying to respond to his questions. I was talked to as though I was stupid. He was confrontational when I said the wrong measurement and insisted I go to an area where a computer was to prove me wrong, even after I said I obviously mistaken. I will not be returning to him or Reid for my cardio issues. Everyone else I had contact with was amazing.

My appointment was changed without my knowledge. This has happened twice over the last two years. My father has Alzheimer's and it is very difficult to coordinate his arrival to appointments outside of his care facility, plus arranging time with my work schedule. I made the appointment according to the day/time I could be there. I've reported this before and apparently it doesn't matter.

I've have been going since Dr Haist/Dr Flaming started their practice in Richmond. I'm 73 years old and I was not able to get into Ried cardiology and to see my regular cardiologist since he began his practice after Dr Hornick, then Dr McGinty. Being able to still drive I went to Cambridge City, nice drive, and their employees are very considerate the environment was very clean, pleasant there, but so is Reid hospital. This was not an emergency visit. I needed to discuss my new symptoms with my Dr. McGinty that I trust in knowing, that he knows my medical history from the beginning. I definitely know how busy the cardiology department is packed at Reid. Since it was my concerns and no emergency, and due to a family emergency, I had to reschedule, as soon as they could get me in was 2 months for Dr McGinty. I was given different places to go, the closest was Cambridge City. Thank you again Reid hospital for having satellites and I was able to finally get in.

This is the first time I've done it through a video lunlimited. Impressed, like I was sitting in doctors office. My van was severely damaged by a unlighted trailer across 3 lanes of US40 one rainy night, in the dark, and unlighted. Haven't been able to replace it, not enough funds.

Good discussion about AFIB and options going forward. Meds that can possibly reduce occurrence but would require a pacemaker are a serious consideration for me. Will make a decision about the pacemaker option by mid-January.

Great Doctor.

Dr. McGinty is the best. At one point Reed Hospital wasn't going to accept my Aetna Medicare starting January 1, 2025. I'm so grateful that they changed their minds and that I can continue to come to Dr. McGinty and to Reid Hospital. I have complete confidence in Dr. McGinty and have had three excellent experiences with overnight stays at Reid Hospital over the last 13 years. Thank you.
