"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when I was in elementary school. It was during this time that an innate desire and love of learning - particularly for science, nature, history, religion, and philosophy - were nurtured.
"I'm a lifelong music fan with rather eclectic interests ranging from classical Baroque to the heaviest of metal bands and everything in between. I've found that the right song at the right time can sometimes do what medicine can't.
"When I'm not working, I also enjoy cooking, lacrosse, and visiting historic sites."
