I was called 2 days prior to my appt to change the time. I was given an option of 7:45AM which I took. I arrived at 7:40 and checked in. I was taken back to the room after 8. Someone checked me in, left the room and closed the door. I was never seen again until the doc came in at 8:50. He said he did not know why they gave me an early appt because he never gets there before 8:45. It would have been nice if someone came into the room and told me the doc was not yet there rather than me thinking I had been forgotten in never never land.

The doctor was in the room for less than 4 minutes total. He would not take time to listen to me, I was only permitted to answer his questions. For first time visit to cardiologist, very discouraged he was in such a hurry... interrupted me several times..

I do not feel that these?s were fair to the provider. Dr. Amro filled in for Dr. Haist since he could not be here. Dr. Amro asked the ?s needed (I have afib) and could not know my whole history. He's only human. For what needed to be cleared w the EKG, he and his young helpers did a fine job. Please thank him, again, for me.

My new heart dr was very knowledgeable about my health and a very pleasant individual. My Previous heart dr at Reid is retiring and is one of the best. I was very impressed with my new dr and glad he was chosen to follow dr Fleming.

The experience with that particular doctor and his office are great. I'm just not a fan of Reid. It seems more a business than a true concerned health care provider.

B/P was high, yet I did report it had been running much lower. It was never taken again to recheck, yet he ordered another b/p medication. I will monitor for a couple of days & report back to him as I don't want to bottom out. Had not run out of meds, asked about refill for 3 meds as would run out in a week. He "assumed" I had stopped, which I hadn't. Did refill 2 of them. Just seemed rushed for an 8am appt. Suggest he take time to listen to his client.

My husband and I was both very impressed with Dr. Amro? He was very thorough snd very polite and interested in my problem ! My husband is thinking about transferring his medical records from st vencent to Dr. Amro if he will except him!
