Amber Burns MSN, FNP

I don't believe that anyone is listening to me or understanding how I may or may not feel about what's being said to me. I've said something a few times and nobody that I've seen has listened to what I've said. All in all everyone I've seen has upset me more. And I feel that I need to reach out to a therapist to cope with how I feel when I leave my appointments.

Amber Burns was very kind. I felt very comfortable with her.

The doctor I saw today was absolutely amazing, so much better than Dr Clementie who seemed rushed and didn't really say much to me through my after miscarriage exam which seemed really insensitive

I was nervous to see a new provider after my previous gynecologist left Reid, but I was relieved to have been met with such a kind, understanding, knowledgeable and thorough NP today, and felt very comfortable in her office. My childcare fell through so I brought my young son who has a developmental disability, and I was very happy with how it was handled by the NP. The front desk clerk had me worried because she made it seem like he'd need to sit outside the room (which is not possible because he's an eloper and needs a high level of assistance) but my worries were put to rest with the care of the nurse, NP and her student. So thank you!

Everyone in the office was friendly and efficient. Best visit with a provider that I have had anywhere in years.

This was my child's first visit with OB/GYN. I liked I was given a letter about the need for the provider to meet with my daughter privately. However, the provider didn't talk to my daughter about the items listed on the letter. She was not talked to about healthy eating and sleeping habits and sexuality. My daughter was not talked to about STD's or about starting birth control pills. She was prescribed pills and I had to educate her about STD's and how to start taking them. I would have liked an opportunity to speak to the provider at the end of the appointment also.

Amber was really great! She listened to me very carefully and gave me insightful advice. She showed that she really cared and seemed to be very knowledgeable. She is definitely an asset to the organization.

Amber made me feel comfortable. That meant a lot as I had seen Dr. Smith for years and was nervous about seeing a new provider.

I appreciate the kindness everyone had today with my daughter being with me. Dr. Burns brought in paper and pen for her to color and the nurse that was helping colored with my daughter and kept her busy so I could get taken care of.

NP was very kind and considerate. Couldn't pull up last visits and information because they were over 6 years ago.

She did not live up to her biography. She seemed to disregard my concerns about hormonal embalamcrs in me. She WAS friendly but I felt like she did not address the reasons for me coming there. Since I haven't had a pap smear in over 2 years, I thought that she might start there, or at least send me for blood work up. I was just a can that got kicked down the road, or at least that's how I felt.

Amber has been the best NP by far. She's very sweet and concerning about my medical conditions. I would definitely recommend her to others.

Very nice staff and felt comfortable. Was much quicker and felt more comfortable asking questions about certain things. Would recommend everyone was very nice.

1- when they scheduled this appointment it was for 11am. They never called me a couple days before the appointment to confirm the time. When I showed up to the appointment at 1050 they said my appointment was at 1030 and they made me reschedule.

I am extremely unhappy with my experiences at Reid and are seeking a second opinion elsewhere. I was told a supervisor would contact me and no one ever did.
