Morgan Stamper earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis. She's certified in crisis prevention intervention and management of aggressive behavior.
"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine after helping take care of my grandfather who had lung cancer. I'd attend chemotherapy and radiation appointments with him, and I got to see the impact healthcare workers could have. He passed away when I was in fifth grade, and after that, I knew healthcare was where I needed to be to make a difference in the lives of others.
"The most important thing patients should know about me is I'm not judgmental of any situations or circumstances. I try my best to allow patients to feel comfortable and open when meeting with me so I can provide the best care possible for them.
"When I'm not working, I love to travel, and I have a goal to see
all 50 states. I also enjoy hiking, running, and playing volleyball."
