Michelle Craft earned her bachelor's and her master's degrees in nursing at Indiana University East in Richmond. She's a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when my aunt - who's a nurse - encouraged me to explore healthcare. Watching her care for patients with such compassion and dedication inspired me to follow in her footsteps and make a difference in people's lives.
"I once volunteered at a rural clinic abroad, where I saw firsthand how compassionate, patient-centered care can transform lives. That experience reinforced my decision to become a nurse practitioner so I could make a meaningful impact on my patients' health every day.
"The
most important thing patients should know about me is they can trust me to
provide safe, evidence-based care with honesty, compassion, and respect.
"When I'm not working, I enjoy gardening, hiking, reading, and the arts."
