I knew I wanted to go into
neuropsychology when I was a teacher and graduate student. I developed a strong
passion and desire to help individuals, families, practitioners, and others to
get the knowledge, compassion, and interventions they need to move forward in
life. I enjoy the rigor, vitality, and challenge of serving and helping to
solve patient needs.
My grandmothers have been a steady and glowing source of
inspiration as they were single mothers as early widowers who raised my parents
by instilling values of a strong work ethic, perseverance under pressure,
spirituality, integrity, and service to others.
They propelled me to reach upwards while seeking to care for
others. I want patients to know I seek first to understand and honor their
story and situation. Together, I will strive to find and accentuate their
assets while helping to solve the problems, roadblocks, and barriers that
are impacting them and their lives.
When I'm not at work, I thoroughly enjoy being a husband, father,
and family member. I love to be active by being involved in sports, hiking,
running, and camping. I enjoy traveling, am a voracious reader, an avid cook,
an animal lover, a prayerful person, and an artist.
