"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when I was looking into colleges. I wanted a career that was going to challenge me and allow me to help others. I love learning new things and live by learning something new every day. Nursing makes that happen.
"The thing I enjoy most about healthcare is the ability to help people. Patients come to you at their time of need, and it's important to me to be the person to put them on the right track and the most efficient road to recovery.
"The most important thing I want patients to know is I'm here to listen to them and help in any way I can. I'll be attentive and responsive during their appointment and offer resources when needed.
"When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband. When I'm not doing that, I'm behind a sewing machine making custom clothing for my daughter."
