"I first knew I wanted a
career in medicine when I was a child and my great grandfather had Alzheimer's
disease. I didn't completely understand what was happening. I wanted to learn
more and help others with ailments like him. In my teens, I had an adopted
grandmother with multiple health issues. My mother would always help her with
household things when needed. I wanted to be able to help her and other loved
ones. That was when I knew I wanted to pursue nursing.
"I treat my patients how
I'd want my family to be treated. I might not know which medication will work
best for you at first - we're all individuals and different factors affect our
mental health - but we'll work as a team to figure it out. I'm here to support
you the best way I can.
"I LOVE animals. I have
three cats and three dogs. My fur babies, family, and friends are what I value
most."
