Introduction

Amy Rismiller lives on a farm with horses, chickens, dogs, and cats, which keeps life exciting outside of work. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, and her master's degree from the Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio. She's a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates.

"I first knew I wanted to go into medicine when I met a really great physician assistant and I thought, 'I want to be just like him!' I treat every patient the way I'd want my own family to be treated.

"When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, horseback riding, camping, and reading."
