Reid Internal Medicine, Richmond Cardiology Associates named RHPA Practices of the Year
April 28, 2025 -- Reid Health Physician Associates (RHPA) honored its Practices of the Year during a celebration dinner held April 25 at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond.
Reid Internal
Medicine and Richmond Cardiology Associates were announced as the winners in
the primary care and specialty care categories.

Now in its fourth
year, the RHPA's Practice of the Year honors for primary care are based on how
well practices do in three key areas: quality, patient experience, and
financial performance. Specialty Care Practice of the Year is judged on
financial performance and patient experience.
"Teamwork
is at the heart of everything we do," said Billie Kester, Vice President
of Ambulatory Care and Service Lines.
"By consistently
working together, they ensure every patient receives high-quality,
compassionate care. It's that commitment to each other and to those we serve that
drives our success and moves us closer to our goal of improving health outcomes
across the region."
Kelli Goodwin,
Senior Director - Primary Care, said earning Practice
of the Year celebrates the exceptional commitment teams show every day to
delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
"Reid Internal Medicine has exemplified
outstanding teamwork and performance in quality, patient experience, and
financial stewardship," Goodwin said. "These recognitions are a reflection of
the compassionate, expert care their teams provide and their unwavering focus
on improving patient outcomes every day."
Reid Internal Medicine received two honors for
scoring the highest overall and quality. Reid Health Primary & Specialty
Care - Brookville had the top score for patient experience. Reid Eaton Family &
Specialty Care received honors for financial performance.
Tyler Evans,
Cardiovascular Service Line Director, said the team at Richmond Cardiology
Associates always works together to meet the needs of their patients.

"Richmond
Cardiology Associates saw record numbers of encounters for 2024, with more than
3,300 new patients seen," Evans said. "Procedural volumes reached an all-time
high for the group, all while maintaining excellent patient outcomes, which is
a testament to the quality of the physicians, providers, and staff that we have
in the practice."
Richmond
Cardiology Associates' staff was named RHPA's best for financial performance. Reid
Oncology Associates was the topmost performer in patient experience.
In 15 years,
RHPA has grown to include more than 50 primary and specialty care practices
across Reid's eight-county service area with some 265 providers and more than 800
total employees.
"RHPA's growth has been driven by our deep commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our communities," Goodwin said. "We've expanded not just in size, but in the range of services we offer and the strength of our team, always guided by Reid Health's mission to lead our communities to well-being, one person at a time."
