Public can get first look at new Reid Health Connersville facility at open house

Jan. 7, 2026 -- A
special event will give local residents an early look at the new Reid Health
Connersville campus ahead of its expected opening by the end of March.
An open house featuring guided, 90-minute walking tours of
the facility will take place from noon-4 p.m. on Jan. 31 at 2500 Park Road.
"We can't wait to show everyone what's in store for them
when they come to this state-of-the-art building for care," said Ben Wells,
Reid Health President/CEO.
"Our new campus represents the future of healthcare in
Connersville and Fayette County as well as our commitment to continue providing
high-quality services to the community for many years to come."
Those interested in taking part in a tour should go to reidhealth.org/buildup to
sign up for a time slot and guarantee their place in line.
There'll be a standby area for anyone who hasn't signed up
for a tour ahead of time where they can wait for an unclaimed spot in an
upcoming tour. Self-guided tours aren't available.
Hot beverages will be on hand, and the first 1,000 people
to attend will receive a special giveaway.
Should weather force a cancellation of the event, there
won't be a makeup date.
Once fully opened, the new Reid Health Connersville will be
the home of several services, including:
- The primary care providers from Whitewater Valley Primary Care and Reid Health Primary & Specialty Care - Connersville
- Emergency medicine with an onsite helipad
- Laboratory
- Radiology
- Infusion Therapy
- Respiratory function testing

Eleven specialty care practices also will be housed there,
with two seeing patients in Connersville for the first time:
- Cardiology
- Endocrinology (new)
- ENT & Hearing Center
- General Surgery
- Neurology (new)
- OB/GYN
- Oncology
- Podiatry
- Pulmonary
- Urology
- Wound Healing
"We know how critically important it is for those living in
rural areas to have readily available access to high-quality care," said Billie
Kester, Vice President/Ambulatory Care & Services Lines for Reid Health.
"This facility brings all of these services under one roof,
making it much more convenient for our patients to receive the help they need."
