Medical Monday will contend with increasing viral respiratory illnesses
Nov. 29, 2023 -- Cases of viral respiratory illnesses typically start to rise in November and steadily increase through January.
December's Medical Monday will cover what we can do to help ourselves and our families through this peak time. Allen Meyers, MD, Reid Health Emergency Services, will talk about viral respiratory illnesses, including the flu, COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Benefit Spotlight" will return during Medical Monday with guest Recovery Rocks,
an organization whose mission is to be a lighthouse of hope for those
struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. The 10-minute segment focuses on a
different Reid Health Community Benefit partner each month and that

Community Benefit Specialist.
