June Ambassador ‘a wonderful example of servant leadership’

Adrienne Isaacs, Clinical Supervisor, Whitewater Valley Primary Care
June 2, 2023 -- A primary care patient needed to be seen by a specialist, but there was a problem: An in-depth packet of forms needed to be filled out, and the patient couldn't read or write well.
Adrienne Isaacs, Clinical Supervisor at Whitewater Valley Primary Care, took the patient into her office where she read the paperwork to him and helped him fill out the forms, working through her lunch break.
It was just one example of the heart and passion of Reid Health's June
Ambassador, according to her co-workers.
"Adrienne is already an Ambassador for Reid. I would just like others to
recognize what I already know," one person said.
Isaacs has worked at Whitewater Valley Primary Care in Connersville for
11 years, with the first eight coming as a medical assistant before she moved
into her current role.
"My co-workers motivate me
every day and are the reason I love coming into work," the Connersville native
said. "They truly are my second family and the reason I continue to work so
hard.
"It's never about if I
succeed but if we all succeed in providing the safest, best patient care. My
team is my purpose, and I strive to make sure everything goes smoothly for them
so they can concentrate on providing the best patient care first and foremost."
As a clinical supervisor,
Isaacs oversees the clinical staff for each of the providers at the Whitewater
Valley location. She also supports office staff and works at least twice a week
caring for patients as needed.
"Adrienne's dedication is top notch. She frequently anticipates issues and
finds resolutions to problems before they even arise. She exemplifies leading
by example in her professionalism and bedside manner with our patients. The
entire office seems to run more smoothly whenever she's around," a co-worker
said.

"The patients love her, and providers always want her to work in their
office," another person said. "She has taken patients home when they didn't
have a ride. She has given patients little mementos she had on her desk that
they liked. Adrienne makes her patients' health and welfare a top priority."
Isaacs lives in Connersville with her husband, Alex, and their two
daughters, Layla and Olivia. She enjoys crafting, reading, binge-watching TV
with Alex, and playing with her girls.
"She sets a wonderful example of servant leadership," a co-worker said. "She works hard, with integrity and the most caring heart. We are so blessed she has chosen Reid and even more blessed our community is in her capable, caring hands. We are so grateful for all she does!"
