1 in 8 men is diagnosed with prostate cancer. In 2020 alone, about 248,530 men were diagnosed with the disease, and 34,130 died. Early detection leads to better results.
If you are a man between the ages of 55-69, you should be screened once a year. And men with incidents of prostate cancer in their families, as well as African American men, are at greater risk and may want to be screened earlier.
