Recipe: Easy Take Along Pasta Salad
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
• 4 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, farfalle, wagon wheel shaped, elbow shaped, etc.)
• 1 cup low-fat or lite ranch or Italian dressing
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes
• 1 cup broccoli
• 1 cup yellow peppers, diced
• ½ cup carrots, diced or shredded
• ½ cup cucumbers, diced
• 1 cup diced chicken
• Pepper to taste
1. Cook pasta according to the directions on box until al dente.
2. Cut up all vegetables.
3. Layer everything into Mason jar or any container with lid starting with dressing as the bottom, then the pasta and lastly the vegetables.
4. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. When ready to eat, shake the jar or pour out into bowl and mix ingredients.
