The following is a list of our physicians, and their area of specialization:


Jonathan S. Chae, M.D.

Dr. Chae is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and general orthopedics. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic surgery – sports medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI, and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. 

Dr. Chae received his medical degree from Wright State University in Beavercreek, OH. He has a bachelor of arts with high honors in Philosophy from Emory University in Atlanta. 

He is accepting new patients.

Mario Lee, M.D.

Dr. Lee is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in shoulder and knee injury repair, hip fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, joint replacements, fracture care and sports injuries. Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY.  He completed his Residency at Harbor- UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Lee has also received a Bachelor of Science from Binghamton University (Summa cum laude) and a B.A. from New York University in Finance and Marketing.

Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the AAOS.

Dr. Lee is available to see patients in Greenville and Richmond.

Christopher Neher, M.D.

Dr. Neher is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement, trauma and general orthopedics. He obtained his degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Dr. Neher’s internship and residency was at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Ohio. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Chad Reed, D.O.

Dr. Reed specializes in rapid recovery hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic shoulder surgery, sports medicine and fracture care. He is known for using the Anterior Approach Surgery for Hip Replacement.

Dr. Reed received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University.  He completed an orthopedic surgery internship and residency through Michigan State University at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Grand Blanc (Michigan).  He earned his Bachelors in Biology and Masters Degree in Physiology at Indiana University. 

Dr. Reed is a member of American Osteopathic Association, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the Indiana Osteopathic Association

Kisha Thomas, M.D.

Dr. Thomas is an anesthesiologist who specializes in pain management. Dr. Thomas provides comprehensive pain management for patients with conditions such as degenerative disc disease, osteoarthritis and other spine- and joint-related conditions that cause pain.  Her goal is to help patients be as active and functional as possible. She offers multidisciplinary pain management with a wide variety of therapies, such as epidural injections, peripheral nerve blocks and, when appropriate, spinal cord stimulators.
  
Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. She completed her anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Hon Q. Vien, D.O., P.T., M.S.

Dr. Vien brings extensive skill and the latest technologies to his practice of Spine Surgery at Reid Orthopedics. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic spine at Southeastern Spine Center and Research Institute. His residency in orthopedic surgery was at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, MI.

Dr. Vien also completed an internship in the Orthopedic Surgery Track at Garden City. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Pikeville School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY, a Masters of Science in Physical therapy from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, and Bachelors of Science in Anatomy/Physiology from Andrews. 

Dr. Vien has special training in a minimally invasive robotic surgery – Mazor, which isn’t available anywhere else in the region served by Reid Orthopedics.
