This was my first visit with Dr Vien and I have nothing but high praises for his "bedside manner" and making me feel at ease talking with him. He was very thorough reviewing my x-rays with me and explaining technical information to me in a way that was easy for me and my wife to understand. Dr Vien's professionalism exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

I trusted him.. I felt safe..that's rare for me..I have not always been treated well by my NP..she has about made me loss any trust in any N.P...my problems are rare and need a Dr..not a NP..that is now in law school...THE DR.TODAY KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING AND. WAS WONDERFUL

Showed up and checked in early. Was supposed to see Dr. Vien at 10:00 a.m. I waited until at least 10:40 before I went to cancel and found out that he was running behind because of a flat tire and no one had told me. I had to cancel another appointment that I had because I was waiting. Not happy at all. If someone had just told me, I would have rescheduled.

During my stay the surgeon was great. The rest of my experience with reid hospital was horrible. I would not suggest going there unless there was no.other option.

I was very happy with both his questions and his answers to my questions. I feel like the visit created a great deal of trust between us. He also explained to me so much more about my condition that anyone else to date.

I had been sitting in the waiting room for quite some time and the check-in person asked me if I've been seen yet and my reply was no not yet and she looked and she said that I was next in line, this was about half an hour to 45 minutes after my set appointment. I didn't mind waiting, I would like the doctor to take their time with me as well. The staff was quite efficient and my nurse Ashley was very patient. The doctor was very knowledgeable and very helpful and concerned with what I might do in the future. He did not recommend physical therapy because it felt it might harm me. This was the first time any doctor has ever not recommended physical therapy to me and I was very appreciative that he thought of my well-being. I felt very comfortable and reassured. I would highly recommend the spine department to anyone with a spinal issue.

I appreciate Dr Vien's prompt attention to my case. I was in extreme pain and was in need for treatment that I received. Dr Vien performed a surgery for me two years ago and I had immediate relief from the back pain. I highly recommend his services and appreciate his pleasant demeanor.

Dr. Vien was very concerned and explained my situation in detail. He broke it down in layman's terms and is attempting to get me in with Dr. Arbuckle for his opinion for possible epidural. Dr. Vien did not speak to me about preventing injury - but only because I was not there for an injury. Every visit to Dr. Vien has found me arriving nervous and fearing the worst outcome. He takes his time with you and makes sure that you understand your condition and your options. He also isn't arrogant or acts like he knows everything, if you need a referral because he doesn't know something he will gladly send you for help and relief.

Dr. Vien is highly knowledgeable about the medical conditions I have and I trust him he has operated on me before and I have made great improvements I would highly recommend him to others the staff is friendly and make you feel very comfortable I'm very happy with my overall experience.

This was the first time I was seen at the Spine center and I was very pleased with the staff. I was nervous going in because I am use to my family doctor but I felt very comfortable with them.

Felt much better after talking to Dr Vien about my plan. Overall great experience. You can tell the ortho center is lead by great leaders. From front desk to check out I was met with smiling, friendly staff.

I really liked how Doctor was honest about possible surgery, recovery and outcome. He took all the time I needed at appointment. Explained results of my x-rays thoroughly. Recommended "other" possible treatments to relieve my pain and mobility issues before any surgery contemplated. Was friendly, courteous and thorough. I came away trusting his opinion and him if surgery becomes my only option.

The spine doctor was much more concerned with my back pain than the previous doctors I had seen. He addressed my concerns with the best course of treatment. It is nice to finally be taken seriously for my injury.

Dr. Vien and his staff were efficient and gave us more information than what we'd been given from 4 other doctors. So very conscientious of our thoughts & concerns.
