Plastic surgery comes from the Greek word “plasticos.” It means to mold or to shape. The materials that are used can be complete tissues, implants, and fillers. In many cases, plastic and reconstructive surgery truly work to accomplish the same goal of providing fulfillment for the patient. Dr. Greathouse’s extensive training and education taught him how to perform a variety of surgeries. It also taught him how to adapt and provide care and counsel before, during, and after the surgery to meet the individual needs of the patient.
Dr. S. Travis Greathouse provides a comprehensive array of plastic and reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Greathouse graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed residencies in surgery and plastic surgery at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pa. He offers a full spectrum of plastic surgery from aesthetics to complex reconstructions.
